Aly received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University and has since provided individualized counseling to youth in both a community mental health setting and in a private practice.
Aly has served clients aged 3 to 25, and is skilled addressing child development, trauma, depression/anxiety, self-injury, and LGBQQIAAPP+ and Trans/Gender Expansive.
As a therapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents and young adults, Aly uses a combination of developmental, behavioral and expressive therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s current needs. Aly’s clinical style is strengths-based and client-centered. She prioritizes transparency, flexibility, and honest communication in the therapeutic relationship. She recognizes that youth today are growing up in a complicated world that presents new challenges for parents, children, and young adults. Aly strives to address these challenges while creating a safe and productive space for clients to grow their resilience, strengthen their voice, and find confidence in their individuality.
