Danna Cooperberg, LPCC

As a counselor, Danna only asks that her clients enter with a curiosity that can be mutually cultivated and discovered. Working from a psychodynamic lens, Danna explores the present with particular attention paid to how our histories, relationships, and unconscious wishes and fears shape our world. Danna also incorporates DBT, CBT, and ACT into her work with clients. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, disordered eating, and trauma but recognizes the many other challenges we may face that may be more difficult to describe. She creates a space of safety and openness that allows clients to locate their parts that may previously have remained quiet and hidden. As these insights emerge, Danna and her clients listen for their wisdom and begin the process of healing. Danna is also passionate about working with those experiencing grief and serious illness. Danna earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and is available for teen and adult clients in person and remotely
