Kimberly DeJong, MA, NCC, LPCC, Reiki Master.

Kimberly started with a career in holistic healing as a massage therapist, craniosacral therapist, yoga teacher and reiki practitioner. As a massage therapist, Kimberly was always curious about how to address the emotions that were accumulated in the body creating stress and tension in the clients seeking physical relief. This lead to a nourishing 20 year career in the healing arts. Kimberly had a yearning to going back to school to earn a bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies, followed up with a Master of Arts in Counseling and Career Development, both at CSU. Her intention was to combine healing arts with counseling to offer people a holistic approach to healing.

Most of Kimberly’s research in graduate school was based around mindful self-compassion as a way to reduce anxiety and depression while increasing life and relationship satisfaction. Kimberly specializes in helping folx through major life transitions including healing through trauma, stepping into marriage, working through divorce, death of a loved one, new parents, empty nesters, changes in career paths and single parenting. Kimberly works with a wide variety of folx including LGBTQIA+, POC, abilities, and various religions and spiritualities and other identities not mentioned here with compassion and empathy.
