Hi, I'm Aly
I’m a counselor who truly loves this work—and the amazing kids, teens, and young adults I get to work with every day. I bring a lot of energy, realness, and a deep respect for who you are right now, not just who you’re becoming. Whether we’re playing, talking, drawing, or just figuring things out together, my goal is to make therapy feel like a space where you can be totally yourself. I show up with humor, honesty, and a big belief in your ability to grow through whatever you’re facing.
If You're Curious About My Background, Here's The Scoop
Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a therapist who works with kids, teens, and young adults—basically anyone under 25—and I truly love what I do. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University and have since provided individualized counseling to youth in both community mental health and private practice settings.
I’ve worked with clients ages 3 to 25, and I’m experienced in addressing a wide range of concerns including child development, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-injury, and identity exploration. I specialize in working with LGBQQIAAPP+ and Trans/Gender Expansive youth and create a space that’s affirming, inclusive, and client-led.
My approach is a mix of developmental, behavioral, and expressive therapeutic techniques—tailored to meet each person’s unique needs. I keep things flexible, transparent, and collaborative, and I always center the strengths and individuality of the people I work with. I know young people are growing up in a world that can be complicated and overwhelming, and I’m here to help them (and their families) make sense of it all.
Whether we’re talking through big emotions, navigating identity, or figuring out how to set healthy boundaries, my goal is always to create a safe, supportive space where clients can grow their resilience, strengthen their voice, and feel confident being themselves
