Meet Rachel
I am a therapist who believes healing happens when you feel safe enough to be honest with yourself and supported enough to change. I offer a warm, grounded space where you can slow down, explore what’s really going on beneath the surface, and make sense of patterns that may have been running your life for a long time. Whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, or a major life transition, I’m here to walk with you at your pace, while helping you reach your potential. Together, we’ll build insight, emotional resilience, and a deeper sense of stability and self-trust.
A Little About Me
Rachel Ramsey, MA, is a graduate of Naropa University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program in Boulder, Colorado, with a focus on mindfulness-based transpersonal psychology. Drawing upon a unique life journey and a wealth of professional experience, Rachel is dedicated to supporting others in creating meaningful, empowered lives.
With nearly a decade in Washington and California’s health and fitness industries, Rachel has extensive experience in coaching, teaching yoga, and integrating holistic wellness practices. She believes deeply in the interconnectedness of physical and mental well-being, and in the importance of reclaiming the body as part of the healing process.
Rachel’s approach weaves together her understanding of the mind and body to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for individuals. Her mission is to support each person in stepping into their most authentic, adaptable, and confident selves.
Working With Rachel
Rachel is a compassionate, integrative therapist dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with themselves, heal from past wounds, and build lives that feel grounded, meaningful, and sustainable. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry, Rachel brings a unique depth of understanding to the relationship between mental health, the nervous system, and the body.
Specializing in trauma, anxiety, attachment patterns, and self-sabotage, Rachel takes a holistic, body-based, and relational approach to therapy. Her work is informed by evidence-based and experiential modalities including trauma-informed care, Gestalt therapy, mindfulness-based practices, somatic awareness, and cognitive-behavioral and strengths-based frameworks. This allows her to tailor treatment to each client’s history, physiology, and lived experience rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.
In addition to her clinical training, Rachel has extensive experience in coaching, behavior change, and performance psychology, having worked for over ten years helping people build resilience, discipline, and self-trust through movement, mindset, and embodied awareness. This background allows her to support clients not only in understanding their patterns but in actually changing them in daily life.
Rachel believes that healing happens at the intersection of mind, body, and relationship. She provides a warm, inclusive, grounded, and non-judgmental space where clients can safely explore trauma, emotional patterns, and identity while building greater nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and agency. Outside of the therapy room, Rachel enjoys strength training, being in nature, building community, and continually deepening her own personal and professional growth.
